Serafeim Tourikas was born in Sweden and raised in Athens, Greece. He has been performing for 20 years, starting in high school, and studied classical music and jazz at Athens Conservatory.
He has performed at major festivals and venues across Europe, including Djangofest and Athens Rhythm Hop and won first place at the Swinging Europe competition with the band Jeepers Creepers.
Serafeim has collaborated with acclaimed artists such as Tim McCall, Marc Devine, and Murray Wall. He has studied with legendary jazz masters Jimmy Cobb (Miles Davis quartet), Barry Harris, and Kenny Washington.
