Seps was truly the best addition to our wedding. He played as guests were being seated, as we exited the ceremony as bride & groom, cocktail hour, dinner, and then absolutely crushed it interacting with guests on the dance floor. He worked with our DJ behind the scenes to make sure they had their ends ironed out to be able to be cohesive, and you would have thought the two of them came as a pair they were so on it together. Seps- you were the talk of the night and after party. We’re so grateful for you and adding your beautiful music and incredible personality to our wedding day.

What to expect
My approach to performance is all about amplifying emotions and creating long-lasting memories. To accomplish these goals, I focus my energy on song selection and timing, the emotional tonality of my playing, and the visual experience I'm creating.
I have a theory that the more of your senses an experience engages with, the more evocative it will be, and the deeper the memories it will leave behind.
And that's why I created my Full Day Saxophone + DJ/Emcee Experience!
This package includes:

--- Surprise saxophone appearances on the dancefloor, sprinkled throughout
--- Up to 3 high-fidelity sound systems, covering 3 separate areas
--- Immersive dance floor lighting, timed to the music
--- Video-screen DJ booth that visualizes the music in real time
--- 18" subwoofers that allow your guests to physically feel the music
--- A hand-curated video album so you can re-live the best moments again and again
My aim is to build a cohesive, musical storyline that guides the energy of you and your guests from the start of your event to the big dance party at the end!
Typically, what this looks like is introducing myself softly as people arrive, playing with a smooth, light tone as I roam about, ramping up the energy and finding the party people as the drinks begin to flow, and creating moments that bring everyone together and get them excited to dance. By the time the floor opens up, energy is through the roof!
This is when all the production kicks in. I mix all your favorite songs seamlessly together, and let the crowd's response guide my selections. The lighting, visuals and subs are in full effect at this point, making every song an immersive, multi-sensory experience!
Every so often, I step out onto the floor with my sax, shifting my tone to a more growly, high-energy style, timing my entrances and movements perfectly to build anticipation for each drop, and super-charging those exciting moments!

About
Hi! I'm Seps. I was born and raised in Orange County, and have been playing and performing music here since I was 7. I can say without a doubt that there's nothing on this earth that I love doing more than performing.
I've played with tons of different bands, with a range of styles including everything from ska punk to big band jazz. I also have a solo album and a couple of my own singles out, which you can find on Spotify!
During high school, I cut my musical teeth with open jam sessions in my friend's garage, improvising for hours at a time. This is where I gained the ability to make up endless melodies on the fly, and to play practically anything by ear.
I graduated from Chapman University in 2021, where I studied jazz performance under Gary Matsuura and Albert Alva, playing first tenor in the Chapman Big Band and further honing my ability to improvise and play with emotion.
Something you may find surprising about me is that I'm also a computer programmer! I studied computer science alongside music, and have developed a lot of my own web apps surrounding my business, as well as some of the visual elements you'll see in my performances.
Everything I do revolves around music, which I believe strongly to be the most efficient and all-encompassing form of communication. It's my passion, and I have a feeling you'll be able to tell when you see me play.
