What to Expect
Spencer begins by unpacking a series of strange objects from his case as you and your guests gather around a table in the dim light. While he works, he begins to tell of the history of seances, spirit mediums and contact with the dead. With the stage set, you and your guests are brought through an exercise to prepare you for contact with the spirits. By this time a hush has fallen over the room as some guests begin to feel a strange presence. After a minute of focus and anticipation, he lights a candle, and the seance begins...
As the candle flickers and the group breathes in unison, a spirit makes it's presence known...
During previous seances, guests have seen objects moving as they held them, felt something touch them when nobody was around and have even seen cryptic messages appear.
About
When studying magic in Las Vegas, Spencer had the opportunity to learn Eugene Burger, a master of modern spirit theater. Shortly after, he began to devise his own seance show, combining magic effects with a chilling atmosphere to create a show sure to result in a few new ghost stories.
While performing a show in Niagara on the Lake, Spencer had the chance to attempt his first seance in the Fort George National Historic Site. Supposedly the most haunted site in Canada. On a chilling, moonless night, a small group of people made their way across the grounds to a spot where visitors often reported feeling "something just isn't right here". By candlelight, the seance began, and after a few minutes, the candles began to go out one by one, objects began to move. Afterwards one of the witnesses reported a gentle tugging on her sleeve throughout the show. Providing the spirit with a pencil and paper, one of the guests asked "Why are you here?" Slowly the pencil wrote the numbers, 1813. Fort George was a reconstruction, built in the 1930's on it's original site. The first fort was bombarded and burned to the ground on May 25th, 1813.
Since then, Spencer has worked to perfect his seance to ensure everyone leaves with a ghost story as chilling as his first.
Spencer is a professional magician and claims no supernatural powers.
