The audience appreciates the clarity and sound quality right off. As a self-taught audio engineer, Oz maintains a nice balance of instruments, where each instrument can be heard and discerned. SEAL Team 6 is a tribute band to the soldiers who successfully pulled off Operation Neptune's Spear. The show is performed entirely by Oz Lindsey, former Business Law instructor at WSU. Oz has all the necessary gear and offers discounts to the performance fee if the client has their own PA system. The style of music performed can be compared to bands like Foo Fighters, Sublime, Alice-in-Chains, Nine Inch Nails, The (link hidden)d yet the list is diverse with several genre's covered like Blues, Ska, even C & W. A majority of the song list is original music with covers by such bands as Don Henley, Hoobastank, The Tokens (Lion Sleeps Tonight), and other popular artists. What is unique about this show is you get the sound of a full 4-5 piece band in amazing clarity. Oz accomplishes this by playing and recording all other vocals and instruments on a professional studio quality 24 track recorder. In real time he sings the lead vocals and plays lead guitar while the rest of the sound comes from the recorder. There are many advantages to this operation. Being a solo artist means a more affordable price, far less chance of one or more members having to cancel at the last minute for whatever reason. Of major importance to SEAL Team 6 clients is that the show is not as loud as full bands. Volume levels are easily maintained to just the right level and adjustment is far easier when one musician can attend to it rather than 4-5 musicians with a drummer with no volume knob.
