Perfect performance for the occasion
Matthew called to verify time. He showed up and was ready as planned. His music was exactly what we needed for our event. Thankyou for your help in making our walk memorable. It was perfect
Mr Fleek graced our military Dining about with his pipes. He was quick to communicate, offered great suggestions for timing and tone of his playing. He was timely and did an amazing job playing. I highly recommend him for anyone's event!
Matthew played at the graveside of my father's inurnment. We really could not have improved upon his contribution in any way. He not only played the selections we requested, but he learned a new one for us, per my father's request. He arrived early, was wearing traditional clothing, and remained a respectful yet noticeable distance form our service. His finishing "Amazing Grace" rendition played as he slowly descended from the gravesite. Further, his bagpipe was a gorgeous instrument with a clear and lovely tone. The whole family was so grateful for Matthew.
From start to finish, Matthew was a thorough professional. Family and friends were enthralled with his surprise performance. There was dancing and toasting with wee drams. We plan to have Matthew back each year for our special St. Patrick's Day celebration. Definitely a five star performance. Thank You! The Reece Clan
The gig started off on the right foot. Matthew arrived on time, ready to play. When he made his appearance the gym went sighlant then the sounds of the pipes filled the room. Professional experience and will be loooking forward to having him play again,
The funeral at sea for my husband Rick was unforgettable due to the bag pipe music of Matthew Fleek. His presence made the ceremony, beautiful, solemn and spiritual!
Thank you Matthew!
When my sister Lori passed away at only 49, I want to do something special, letting everyone know that the world had lost an amazing person. I thought about people of greatness, and remember many ocasion on T.V. when important people had passed away bagpipes would always be playing. I just love the sound and idea, so started looking for bagpiper, I had no idea, how I was going to find the right player. After browsing throught Gig Salads lists of bagpipes, reading a few reviews; "Thinking I wish there more" left me still not sure, so with a quick swipe of my scolling finger (like I was spinning a wheel) saying a few prayers of course as the browser click, chick, clicked down the page and finally stopping on Matthew Fleek....The Good Lord answered my prayers.
Matthew made a dream come true! When he stated playing everyone knew someone special was being celebrated.
Matthew was an absolute delight to work with, from beganing to end; we received a timely quote, Matthew communicated well prior to the event, he arrived on schedule per our conversation, the sounds of his bagpipes were absolutely breath taking, and his attire was sharp as a tack.
God answered my prayers sending me Matthew. I hope this review reaches you when you need a pagpiper, because Matthew is a must hire.
Pagpiper Matthew Fleek is that special person you are hoping to find!
Matthew played at my mother in-laws funeral. He was on time, professional, courteous, respectful and kind. His bagpipes are amazingly haunting and beautiful at the same time. Every person in the room was in tears. If you need an amazing bagpiper I highly recommend Matthew!
Matthew's performance for my mom's 85th birthday party was amazing. He was very professional, played beautifully, and was open to creative ideas. His willingness to travel down dirt roads and play while walking though a forest on uneven ground was so appreciated. As my mom stated afterwards, "my birthday was already wonderful, but Matthew made it perfect". Thanks to Matthew, a special event became even more memorable.
Matthew has played at the Relay for Life of Kent for the past few years. Aside from being responsible, dependable, flexible, kind and caring, he is an amazing musician. His haunting bagpipe music makes our Luminaria Ceremony one of the most special and memorable parts of our event.
Matthew played a the beautiful piece Amazing Grace at my mother in laws memorial service. It was lovley and very moving. He had great suggestions that made the moments very special. He arrive early to the service to be sure he met all our expectations. Highly recommended!
