Scott Byers Music

You can expect a professional performer who tailors a setlist to your expectations from a variety of hit songs from great generations of music, primarily 60s through today with a lot of 70s-90s music. Come see me as a regular at any of the Republic Grille locations or follow me on social media to see me live and get a true audition for your special event!

After a 23-year career in the petrochemical industry, I retired following a serious motorcycle accident and found a renewed appreciation for life—and music. What began as a new chapter quickly became a passion for performing, and I've since built a busy career entertaining audiences throughout the Houston area.

Today, I perform regularly at venues including Republic Grille, Dolce Niente, Truck Yard, Silk & Spice, and many others. My acoustic guitar and vocal performances feature familiar hits from great generations, creating an atmosphere that can be intimate and conversational or lively and engaging, depending on the occasion.

Whether it's a corporate gathering, private celebration, dinner, cocktail reception, or special event, my goal is simple: provide great music, genuine energy, and a polished, professional experience that brings people together and makes the occasion memorable.
I'm grateful for every opportunity to share music—and to help make an event one people remember.

Pro Level equipment and sound set up to fit a variety of spaces...let's discuss what works best.

I need a power supply and about a 8 x 8 area or stage to set up. I also provide background music of your choice through the system during the occasional break between sets.

If you wonder whether to get a DJ or Live Music, do both with me. I can play most any song you want during live music breaks all for the same price! :)
