I’m a caricaturist with 13 years of experience at Houston Downtown Aquarium and Kemah Boardwalk. I’ve also had a published comic strip, magazine and editorial cartoons, children’s book art and portrait commissions. My caricatures are drawn with gentle exaggeration and I aim for likeness. My goal is for my customers to walk away laughing and satisfied with a treasured keepsake.

May 6, 2026He was seriously amazing! Super kind, easy to work with, and very talented. This was a community event with people coming and going the whole time, and he stayed busy the entire time drawing one after another and kept such a great attitude. He was great with all ages and made everyone feel comfortable and excited. People really loved their drawings and it was such a fun takeaway. He also used our branded paper, which made it even better for our event.
Communication beforehand was easy, and he was flexible when we needed to extend his time, which I really appreciated. Overall, he was a huge hit at our booth and I would 100% book him again!

I will set up my easel, chairs, and lighting 30 minutes prior to the event. I’ll draw 10-15 B&W faces per hour. I’ll draw a cartoon portrait of my subject with a cute likeness and accent on mildly humorous exaggeration. I may engage in light banter with my subject and onlookers. My goal will be to add a an element of fun to help make your event more memorable.
