July 8, 2013Scarlett Brais sang at my mom's funeral. The funeral turned out to be more of a celebration of her life thanks to Scarlett. Her voice was angelic and her beautiful personality came through in her singing. She played the keyboard on some songs and sang a cappella on others. Both were amazing. I would highly recommend Scarlett for weddings and funerals. I know she sings and plays keyboard in a reggae band, so I know she is very versatile. As far as price, she was so reasonable (below other singers' prices) that I gave her a large tip on top of her asking price - she was that good. The only flaw was that she didn't market herself well enough and I was very lucky to find her. I told her this issue and I believe that is why she is starting to advertise more on the web.

Scarlett is a professional vocalist and pianist working in Los Angeles and Orange County. She has a versatile background having studied classically as well as contemporary and pop music genres. As a seasoned performer, she has toured parts of the US as well as internationally to sing in several parts of central Europe and Italy. In 2010, she graduated from the Bob Cole Conservatory of Music at California State Long Beach with a Music degree in Vocal Performance.
Scarlett is an active performer in the LA music scene. She is the front woman and lead song writer for a popular Los Angeles based Soul Fusion band called Scarlett And The Fever. Scarlett collaborates and performs with other talented musicians and groups in the area, embracing several musical genres including soul, jazz, and R&B.
