We offer entertaining, educational, and interactive reptile and bird shows. Currently with Covid-19 restrictions in place, we have adapted our services to virtual shows using the Zoom platform. The benefit to virtual shows is that we can bring even more cool and crazy animals like rattlesnakes and snapping turtles to your presentations! We had a great experience with Scales & Tails a couple of weeks ago. They were on time, prepared and really engaging with the kids. It felt safe and educational, and well worth the cost. We would absolutely hire them again for an event.

Everyone loved the animals at our event. I just wish they would have had them displayed for everyone to see all of them instead of only 1 or 2 out at a time.

Hi Megan, we are sorry the outcome wasn’t what you expected. For the safety of the animals and for your guests we can’t have them running around unattended. Animal handling is a delicate balance of monitoring the animals and your crowd. We rotate animals in and out of handling situations so that they don’t get overly stressed and also so the kids can gets to see something new each time they filter into the room. A stressed animal is dangerous for everyone involved and we always want to make sure things are safe. I knew you had a larger crowd so I did send an extra staff member to help rather than our standard one person. We absolutely can have all the animals displayed all at the same time if you would like to hire one of our display options next time. We can bring in custom exhibit enclosures that house the animals in a safe manner behind glass. Due to the setup required for these displays they do cost quite a bit more but are very impressive. We hope you will consider one of these options in the future to meet your needs.

I had a reptile show done for my sons birthday. It kept all the kids entertained. The instructor was very informative with each reptile. The kids and adults enjoyed the presentation. This bebiste helps keep everything under control and in order. The company communicated well with me. It made the planing easier. Thank you.

Scales & Tails Utah is a family run business that has been operating since 2004. Owner Shane Richins started this business to help educate children and adults alike on the wonderful world of reptiles. In 2011, birds from around the world were added to the line up.
Scales & Tails Utah provides fun, educational, and interactive reptile shows and bird shows for special events. We are a great birthday party idea, and a very educational idea for school assemblies and scouting events. We also provide amazing entertainment for fairs, festivals, carnivals, family reunions, corporate events and other special occasions.
We offer four different reptile show packages ranging in price from $150-$275 and one bird show package priced at $225. We also do a Grand Combo show combining our Large Reptile Show and Bird show into one big show!
