Clients can expect a relaxed, professional solo instrumental guitar performance designed to complement the setting rather than overpower it.

I perform original acoustic-electric guitar music with no vocals, cover songs or backing tracks. The music is warm, melodic and reflective, with enough variety to remain interesting while allowing guests to comfortably talk, dine, socialize or simply listen.

Depending on the event, the performance can serve primarily as pleasant background music or take a more featured role for an audience that wants to listen. I am particularly well suited for wineries and vineyards, receptions, dinners, private and catered events, senior communities, restaurants and bistros, and other intimate gatherings where live music can add atmosphere without becoming the center of every conversation.

My setup is simple and unobtrusive, requiring relatively little space. I arrive prepared, set up before the performance, and work with the host or venue to determine an appropriate sound level for the room and occasion.

Because all of the music is original, guests hear something a little different from the usual collection of familiar cover songs. Each instrumental has its own title and character, but there is no expectation that guests stop what they are doing and focus on every tune.

The goal is simple: add warm, comfortable live music to the occasion while allowing the event itself—and the people attending it—to remain the priority.

Steve is the guitarist behind SAW Music Projects, performing original solo instrumental acoustic-electric guitar with a warm, melodic and reflective style.
Rather than performing cover songs or singing familiar material, Steve’s music is entirely original. Each tune is written and performed as an instrumental piece with its own character, mood and title. The result is live music that is engaging without being intrusive—well suited for settings where guests want to enjoy the atmosphere while still being able to comfortably talk with one another.
SAW Music Projects grew from Steve’s longtime interest in creating simple, memorable guitar melodies and sharing them in relaxed, personal settings. His live-performance experience includes open mics and Featured Artist performances, and he continues to develop opportunities with wineries, restaurants and bistros, senior communities, private gatherings and other intimate events.
The performance setup is deliberately simple: one guitarist, one guitar, no vocals, no backing tracks and no full-band production. The focus is on providing pleasant, distinctive live music that adds something special to the setting without taking it over.

SAW Music Projects is a simple solo guitar performance requiring minimal space and setup.

For small, intimate settings, I have a compact amplifier suitable for basic acoustic-guitar amplification. For venues with an existing sound system, I am happy to work with the venue’s available equipment and sound personnel.

A suitable performance area and access to a standard electrical outlet are generally required. For outdoor events, the performance area must be dry and adequately protected from weather.

Sound and setup requirements can vary considerably depending on the size and type of event, so I prefer to discuss those details with the client or venue in advance. For larger spaces or events requiring more extensive sound reinforcement, the appropriate sound arrangements should be confirmed before booking.
