Overview
The Northwest's premier source of henna! We specialize in traditional designs, offering our artistry at private functions ranging from small private parties to extravagant galas for clients including Microsoft, Google, Nordstrom and more.
All our designs are created freehand. We mix fresh, organic henna leaf with pure essential oils for beautiful, dark color. We do NOT use toxic PPD ("black henna"). SARAHENNA is fully licensed and insured nationwide.
Want to learn? We offer virtual and in-person instruction for anyone wanting to learn henna!
Available for corporate, bridal, parties, showers, educational sessions, and more. Multiple artists are available for travel throughout WA.

Absolutely wonderful! She showed up early, was friendly to everyone who interacted with her. We had a lot of people at the event, so she was great at keeping each design quick so that more people could get in on the fun. All my attendees loved her and I would totally hire her again!

Sara and her team were amazing and incredibly popular with our employees. We had a company party of 125 people including children age 2 and up. She and her teams work is absolutely gorgeous! I hosted a Mother's Day party and Sara was amazing! Everyone was so impressed with her work. Sara took the time to listen to our design ideas and make a custom piece for each of us. She worked so quickly and each freehand design matched each of our personalities.
I appreciated how she calmly fixed a couple of our designs, without becoming frustrated, because they got smudged while caring for our children. She's great! And the deep brown color that appears after the dye develops is gorgeous! Will definitely be inviting her iver

About
An artist from the very beginning, Sarah discovered henna in 2008 and was fascinated with the intricacy and beauty of traditional Indian designs. She had long been intrigued with other ephemeral art forms such as the Tibetan monk sand paintings and rangoli; and found herself wanting to learn more about the art of mehndi. She began studying the work of other henna artists and spent several years honing her craft, and perfecting her homemade henna paste.
Sarah specializes in traditional mehndi, and loves the energy of parties as well as the one-on-one interaction with clients during private appointments. She enjoys working with companies to create a unique and exciting addition to their events, and has offered her art at Microsoft, Google, Nordstrom, the Seattle Art Museum and many more.
Sarah has multiple artists available for events of all sizes, and is able to travel throughout Washington state and beyond.
