Solo violin music provides a soft ambiance. Perfect for venues where non-overpowering background music is needed.

I always wear solid black attire. Please let me know if this is not appropriate for your event.

One week prior to the event I will send a confirmation message regarding all the previously discussed details (time, location, repertoire, etc.).

Note: The violin will always sound better indoors rather than outdoors. I must use a lesser quality "student" violin when performing outdoors.

Sarah Price is an active performer of chamber music and frequently travels throughout the country performing for a wide range of audiences.

Ms. Price began studying the violin at the early age of four and performed with the Wichita Falls Youth Symphony Orchestra for several years. She later attended the UNT Violin and Piano workshop, where she studied under Julia Bushkova, and also performed in the Hot Springs Music Festival, and Miami Music Festival.

She later received her Bachelors in Music from the University of North Texas and was awarded membership into the Phi Theta Kappa and Sigma Kappa Delta honor societies. While at UNT, she studied under Professor Philip Lewis, the Artistic Director of Chamber Music International. Other teachers and coaches have included Joel Smirnoff of the Juilliard string quartet, the Grammy nominated violinist Andrés Cárdenes, and Gary Levinson, Senior Co-Concertmaster of the Dallas Symphony Orchestra and Professor of Violin at Michigan State University.

In addition to solo and chamber music performances, Ms. Price also performs with several ensembles throughout Texas and maintains a large private teaching studio.

Based in Fort Worth, Sarah is currently the head of the music division for the Texas Jewish Arts Association and organizes chamber music concerts in Fort Worth and the surrounding areas to raise money for non-profit causes.

Sarah performs on a Paul D Crowley - Guarneri del Gesù model. The sound is full, dark, and rich, capable of filling a large chapel or hall.

I charge by the hour.

If I am only needed for 15 minutes, the price range still begins at $150 for solo violin and $400 for duo. (Events must be worth the commute, preparation of requested material, maintenance of the instrument(s), and any other paperwork or details).

My instrument requires me to play indoors. If the event is outdoors I must use a lesser quality student violin. This will effect the sound quality to a certain degree.

Please do not ask me to arrive earlier or stay later than the previously agreed upon time.

If event last more than one hour, I ask to have a 5 minute break.

Please provide one armless chair per musician.
