Sarah & Mark play a fun combination of bluegrass, blues and country/rock music, passing instruments back and forth for creative takes on catchy tunes. They have a well-chosen Americana repertoire, interact well with audiences, and have the musical chops to satisfy the most critical listeners. They have that special skill of never forcing their music on you, but instead inviting you to listen. They provide great background for dinner and conversation, and yet still satisfy those who are really there for the music.

Sarah & Mark will bring the sound system appropriate for your event. We are happy to set up to provide background music, or to be loud enough for a main or outdoor event. You tell us what kind of music you'd like, and we'll focus our set list on those tunes. If you have specific requests, please let us know ahead of time so we can prepare them.
We'd like to know about the dress code and general vibe/theme for your event ahead of time so we can come prepared, as well as any parking or other venue-specific details.
Depending on the set-up time and location of the event, we arrive anywhere from 1-2 hrs early. We do need electricity for most gigs, although we have a smaller sound system we can run on a battery for about four hours that would work well for smaller outdoor events, and we are happy to play instrumental acoustic music for the right kind of intimate setting.
Bluegrass? Blues? A little country? A little jazz? We love it all!
Sarah & Mark have been playing music together in mid-Missouri in different bands for about 8 years. We love to get creative with familiar tunes, and particularly enjoy trying out different instrumental combinations on originals. Our favorite gigs give us the chance to enhance the fun with just the right kind of music for festivals, weddings, breweries and parties. Between us, we have played nearly every genre of music, and if you have a favorite tune you'd like us to prepare, please let us know!
