About
Sara Kavanaugh is a Nashville-based keynote speaker, communications strategist, and hereditary cancer previvor who believes that clarity, courage, and honest communication can change everything—at work, in our health, and in the moments of life that truly matter.
Originally from Michigan, Sara spent more than 20 years in corporate roles before her own health journey reshaped how she sees leadership, advocacy, and resilience. Living with Lynch syndrome and a CHEK2 mutation taught her what it means to ask better questions, speak up even when it feels uncomfortable, and meet uncertainty with curiosity rather than fear.
Today, Sara brings those lessons to stages across the country. Through her C3 Framework™ — Curiosity, Courage, and Communication — she helps audiences navigate change, build confidence, and find their voice in moments that require clarity and action.
Her style is warm, real, and deeply relatable. She isn’t afraid to talk about the messy parts of being human or the small decisions that become turning points. As host of The Positive Gene Podcast, she blends storytelling with expert conversations, making complex ideas feel accessible and empowering.
Whether she’s speaking to corporate teams, professional women, healthcare audiences, or community groups, Sara’s mission is simple: to equip people with the tools they need to think boldly, act bravely, and communicate with purpose—no matter what stage of life they’re in.
