About
Born in Quito, Ecuador, Santiago Lopez is a versatile, expressive guitarist with many years of study and performance experience, skilled in a range of styles including rock, jazz, blues, pop and funk.
In 2014, Santiago moved to the United States to study at the prestigious Berklee College of Music, where he majored in Performance. During this time he studied with renowned musicians such as Jason Palmer, Bret Willmott, David Gilmore and David Fiuczynski.
Currently based in Boston, MA, Santiago performs regularly with his main band Orchid Reed and as a session and side musician for other artists and projects. On the side, Santiago also teaches music and private guitar lessons.
