Santa Walter

Santa Walter is great around kids and loves making children of all ages (yes, even adult children!) happy. Santa Walter can sing (in a group setting) Christmas songs; read Christmas stories (If Santa Walter does not have a specific book, he is happy to borrow the host's book so the children can get the story desired); hand out presents (provided by the host) and most of all: be in pictures - Santa Walter really likes to be in photos!

Santa Walter lives in the North Georgia area and attended the Northern Lights Santa School in 2018. Santa Walter loves making children happy and putting a smile on everybody's face.

Santa Walter does not have any specifics that need to be met; however, to make the Santa visit better here are a few suggestions:

Provide a cell phone number of somebody who will be at the event and will have the cell phone on.
Having a secondary contact in case the 1st person does not answer is a good back-up plan.
Having the phone set to vibrate as a secondary precaution in a noisy room is also good.

Have a place for Santa to park that is close to the event that is out of sight of the area in which the children will be.

Have somebody meet Santa at the parking location. They can show Santa where to go and help load gifts into the sack if needed.

Help Santa make an “exceptional” entrance by having everybody gathered in the same room when Santa appears. Telling a Christmas story or singing a song are different ways to have people in the same room for Santa to make his “exceptional” entrance.

Place “Santa's Chair” in a spot that has a great Christmas background for photos. Leave room behind the chair for people to stand for group photos. Make sure to take lighting in consideration for the pictures. Nothing like sun light coming through a window to mess with the pictures (or blind the photographer). Please, DO NOT place Santa's chair next to a lit fireplace - not only is this not safe for kids, Santa is used to the North Pole and can do without the extra warmth (nothing ruins a Christmas gathering like Santa passing out from heat exhaustion!). Make sure the chair is sturdy and can hold Santa and the kids (no rockers).

When the event is over, have the children together and occupied so Santa can depart without them witnessing Santa leaving in a mundane vehicle.

If additional payment is going to happen at the event (such as a tip or the remaining balance due), make sure to have it concealed in a Christmas card (Santa Claus should not be asked to accept any sort of payment in front of children, but he can accept all the "Christmas cards" anyone wants to give him!).
