Overview
ZOOM visits with Santa Claus - in the comfort of your own home, Santa will visit with you and your children exclusively via a video link. You can customize the visit for whatever your needs, and you can inform Santa of everything he needs to know -names and ages of the children, what they received for Christmas last year, if they sent him a letter, and more. Personalized videos can be sent as well.
IMPORTANT - I only do remote visits, not in-person visits, but it can be via Zoom, or any other application we both decide upon.

December 23, 2024Zoom call with Santa
I would highly recommend booking a Zoom call with Santa. The girls loved it! Santa S was friendly and engaging. I would suggest having a pair of portable speakers if you are using a laptop. I used my work laptop and the speakers in my device were awful so it was hard to hear. Other than that 10/10 and we will be booking again next year. Thank you Santa S!

Damaris - it was wonderful meeting with you and your whole multi-generational crew. You should know that Santa enjoys these meetings immensely as well. Wishing all of you success and happiness and joy during the coming year, and I will certainly look forward to 2025 !

December 21, 2021Awesome Santa!!!!
It was an experience the kids and even adults are still talking about!! The kids were mesmerized yelling Hi and trying to get as close as they could to the screen!! Us parents were even yelling Hi to Santa!! Was better then expected and better then a costume Santa because bigger kids are harder to convince. Not with Santa Samuel!!!! Every kid from 1 to 10 left believing more then ever!!! Thank you for a true Christmas miracle!!! See you next year Santa!!!!!!!

What to expect
Santa is on a computer screen, as big as the screen that you have. Santa is live, and interacts with anyone who wants to interact with him. If you send Santa details before, then Santa "magically" knows about the guests. From my experience, it's adds quite a bit. And you get a recording of the event afterwards.
About
My background is as a medical clown and an actor. A medical clown's purpose is to bring a more positive atmosphere to wherever he or she goes by using the various tools he has - humor, zanyness, perhaps some magic tricks and balloon animals. Unlike an actor, a medical clown does not do an "act", the clown goes with the flow of the people he is working with. The people - guests - are the center of the action. Although there is a framework and a few rules of thumb, there is a great deal of improvisation involved. A medical clown also has a clown name and a back story. Sound like something familiar?
I see Santa Claus as a branch of being a medical clown. Santa brings joy to people via his tools, he has a name (uh, Santa Claus of course), a back story, and there is a framework when he comes to visit. But he goes with the flow of the guests.
Additional booking notes
A good internet connection is important; use a laptop or desktop (not a smartphone), and good lighting for the guests. A webcam is preferred as well.

Influences and inspiration
I've been influenced by the great clown acts of present time and yore, especially Patch Adams (the real one), Harpo Marx, Buster Keaton, and more recently Robin Williams. A good Santa is also kind of like a talk show host, to get the people to talk about themselves.
Setup requirements
Laptop or desktop computer (not smartphone)
Good internet connection (the faster the better)
Lighting (desktop lamps are usually good enough)
Webcam is better than the integrated camera of a laptop
