Christmas Eve Visits

There is something special about hearing a knock at the door on Christmas Eve and discovering Santa has made one last stop before his big night of deliveries.

Christmas Eve visits are approximately 15 minutes and are designed for families who want a short but memorable Santa experience. There is time for Santa to visit with the children, pose for photos and hand out a few pre-wrapped gifts that you provide.

Because Santa has a very busy night ahead of him, Christmas Eve visits are generally limited to approximately 15 miles from Marshfield, MA.

Family Visits & Holiday Parties

Having family and friends together for Christmas? Santa Ross can become part of the celebration.

Rather than following the exact same routine at every appearance, I like to know a little about your gathering beforehand. Depending on the number and ages of the children, Santa can talk with the children, answer questions, pose for family photos, hand out presents and share a Christmas story.

The goal is to create a natural Santa visit that fits your family and gives everyone time to enjoy the experience.

Community, Corporate & Organization Events

Santa Ross is available for company family celebrations, clubs, community events, nonprofit organizations and other holiday gatherings.

Santa can greet guests, interact with children and adults, pose for individual and family photos, distribute gifts provided by the organization, or simply mingle and help create the atmosphere of Christmas.

For larger events, I am happy to discuss your schedule and plans beforehand so Santa's arrival and activities work smoothly with the rest of your event.

Santa's Workshop

Bring a little bit of the North Pole workshop to your event! Santa's Workshop gives children the opportunity to make their own stuffed animal with Santa.

This interactive experience works well for holiday parties, community events and other celebrations where you want to offer children an activity in addition to the traditional Santa visit and photos.

Santa's Workshop requires additional planning, materials and setup. Let me know if you're interested when requesting your quote so we can discuss options for your event.

Restaurants & Breakfast with Santa

Santa can visit tables, greet families, talk with children and pose for photos throughout your restaurant or Breakfast with Santa event.

Every restaurant handles Santa a little differently. Some prefer a designated photo area while others want Santa moving through the room and visiting families at their tables. We can plan the appearance around your restaurant, guest flow and the experience you want to create.

Santa Photo Sessions

Santa Ross is available to work with professional photographers and studios for Santa mini sessions and holiday photography.

I understand that successful mini sessions depend on more than sitting in a chair and smiling at the camera. Santa can interact with children, talk with them, read together, look at a Christmas list and help create the genuine expressions and little moments that make memorable photographs.

Multiple Santa looks are available to complement different sets and photography styles.

Gifts & Santa's Bag

Santa is happy to hand out pre-wrapped gifts that you provide.

Individual gifts should be clearly labeled with each child's name. For larger events, generic gift bags or identical gifts can also be distributed.

If Santa needs to arrive carrying gifts in his Santa bag, please let me know ahead of time so we can arrange how the gifts will get into Santa's possession before his entrance. A little planning helps preserve the magic for the children.

Storytime

Would you like Santa to read The Night Before Christmas?

Storytime can be a wonderful part of family gatherings and events where children can comfortably gather around Santa. If you have another favorite Christmas story in mind, let me know when planning your visit.

Santa's Wardrobe

Santa Ross has multiple Santa looks available.

Would you like the familiar traditional red suit, or perhaps an open long coat with a vest for a different style? Browse the photo gallery to see some of the available looks and let me know if you have a preference for your event.

Mrs. Claus

Mrs. Claus can join Santa Ross for select appearances, subject to availability. An additional fee applies.

If you would like Santa and Mrs. Claus together for your event, let me know when requesting your quote so availability can be confirmed.

Photos

Photos are encouraged!

Santa is happy to pose with children, families, grandparents, adults, coworkers and groups. Don't forget the grown-ups—some of the best Santa photos happen when the adults decide to join in.

For events using a designated Santa photo area, an appropriate background and a sturdy chair should be available. Santa Ross also has a low-back Santa chair and an 8' × 10' holiday photo backdrop that may be available by prior arrangement.

Wedding Ceremonies

For couples who truly love Christmas, Santa can make the occasion even more memorable.

Ross Troiano is an ordained minister and can officiate a meaningful wedding ceremony while portraying Santa Claus. Ceremonies can be personalized around the couple, their story, values and wishes while incorporating as much—or as little—Christmas spirit as they would like.

The result can be fun and wonderfully unexpected while still treating the importance of the ceremony with the respect it deserves.

Before Santa Arrives

Good communication helps create a better Santa experience. Before the event, we'll discuss the important details, including the location, timing, number and ages of children, gifts, photos, special activities and anything Santa should know.

If you have a particular idea for your celebration, tell me about it. Some of the most memorable Santa experiences begin with a family's or event planner's creative idea.

Santa Ross—portrayed by Ross Troiano—first put on the red suit in 1987, making Christmas Eve visits to friends and families throughout the area. In those early years, he would travel hundreds of miles in a single day, bringing Santa into family celebrations and creating memories that are still talked about today.

That same love of Christmas and creating special moments continues with Santa Ross today.

Away from the North Pole, Ross has spent much of his life serving his community. He has dedicated more than 45 years to Scouting, served for 15 years on the Board of Directors of a local Boys & Girls Club, and currently serves on the board of a Marshfield charity supporting local youth.

Professionally, Ross is a Director of Operations for an experiential marketing company in the Boston area. His work producing large-scale events has given him an understanding of what happens behind the scenes to make an event run smoothly—from planning and communication to working with clients, photographers, venues and event teams.

Ross also has a creative side. For more than 15 years, he has helped bring environments to life through scenic design, special effects and lighting at one of Massachusetts' longest-running haunted attractions.

Those experiences all come together in Santa Ross.

A Santa visit isn't simply about putting on a red suit and posing for a photograph. It's about connecting with people, listening to children, sharing a laugh with the adults and creating a moment that feels genuine.

Whether visiting a family at home, greeting hundreds of guests at an event, working with a photographer or sitting down with a child who needs a little extra time, Santa Ross approaches every appearance with warmth, patience, professionalism and respect for the magic of Christmas.

Because sometimes the smallest interaction with Santa becomes the Christmas memory someone carries for years.

For appearances with a designated Santa area, please provide a sturdy chair with enough room around it for children, families and group photos. Low-back or armless chairs generally work best for photographs.

Please avoid placing Santa directly in front of a fireplace or other heat source.

For larger or multi-hour events, a nearby private area for Santa to prepare before entering is appreciated. This also allows Santa to arrive and depart discreetly without taking away from the magic for younger guests.

If Santa will be distributing gifts, please arrange in advance for the gifts to be placed in Santa's bag or delivered discreetly to the preparation area before Santa's entrance.

For restaurants, corporate events, community events and professional photo setups, Santa Ross can provide a low-back Santa chair and/or an 8' × 10' holiday photo backdrop by prior arrangement. Additional fees and setup/breakdown time apply.

Adequate parking and reasonable access to the event location are appreciated, particularly when equipment or gifts are being brought into the venue.
