Overview
A retired teacher who felt a calling to keep the true spirit of Christmas alive, Santa Palmerosa offers a variety of styles and props for discerning clients. He is a real bearded Santa whose beard is 95% naturally white, with just enough pepper to give his appearance depth and definition to set it apart from his luxurious fur trimmed suit. His approach is gentle and personal, in contrast to the more flamboyant Santas some prefer. Santa Palmerosa enters his second season and is looking for a talented photographer to team with to begin a longstanding tradition. Available for a variety of events, home visits, parades, and other celebrations of Christmas. May appear with his favorite elf.

While he admires the performers who choose a more Broadway stage persona, Santa Palmerosa prefers making his connection feel more personal and less like a show. Each approach has value, so clients should determine which works best for their needs.
About
Santa Palmerosa is an award winning teacher who retired after 30 years in the classroom. Blessed with a young son, he was inspired to become Santa by his child during that crucial year of discovery. “Dad, if the Christmas Spirit is so important, then YOU have to do your part.” Indeed.
After 18 months of preparation, including Northern Lights Santa Academy, Santa Palmerosa enjoyed his first season in 2025.
Highlights of the Season included his first home visit with a newborn, Breakfast With Santa for mostly under-served children, Story Time with Santa at a regional library, Shop with a Cop, school visits, home visits, and a remarkable experience being Santa at Santa Land at the iconic Marshall Fields/Macy’s in Chicago.

Unless otherwise specified, clients should handle all their technical needs based on their goals.
Note: If there are pets/animals on the premises, their proximity to Santa must be pre-negotiated. Santa’s clothing is exceptionally expensive and impossible to replace mid season, sometimes animals can be gregarious and destructive. If clients plan for seated photos with Santa, appropriate seating and set dressing should be provided. In some instances, Santa Palmerosa may be able to provide this at a reasonable cost.
