Santa "Lynden"

A Grand Entrance with bells jingling, lots of interaction, perhaps a song or two, with a final "Ho, Ho Ho" and Welcome to All as I prepare to take my seat in Santa’s Chair

Typical process once seated in Santa's Chair:
1. Engagement with the Group who have come to see me

2. If a Story-Telling Event: a series of guided questions, answers, and related stories combined with props or magical moments will be directed at a group of kids all designed to entertain, inform, and teach.

3. For Santa Visit Events: An "Invitation" is extended to each child to Come and See Santa

4. 2-3 posed pictures taken by family and friends is then encouraged. During the rest of the visit, feel free to take as many pictures as you like

5. A 1-2 minute interview then begins between Santa and each Child or group of Siblings

6. At the conclusion of the visit, I send them off with a "North Pole Express Request" scroll in hand designed to help parents know the one to two things each child really wants for Christmas. This allows the magic of the visit to continue by pulling Parents and Children together in this simple activity when they get home.

I will also go throughout the venue and engage individuals where appropriate and desired with Santa repartee and Picture taking… I like to be mobile as well as fixed.

Throughout the visit, magical events may suddenly spring forth appropriate to what is happening. This is not a Magic Show, but magical moments specific to Santa may find their way in the presentation to surprise and enhance the "magical-ness" of the encounter as circumstance and setting allows.

At the end of the Visits... Santa will bestow a hearty traditional fair-well to All and will exit in the same fashion he entered.

Hello. I am Santa Lynden and am also referred to at work as "Safety Santa." I am married, have 6 kids, and 5 grandkids.

I completed Santa Training with SchoolforSantas in 2022; and again in 2023 & 2025 at the C.W. Howard Santa School held in Midland, Michigan with my Wife.

Becoming Santa during the Holiday Season is an honor and dream come true for me. Bringing joy, wonder, and "yuletide magic" to those who come to see “Santa” is my primary focus for every encounter.

I am a member of the Fraternity of Real Bearded Santas (FORBS) and the International Brotherhood of Real Bearded Santas (IBRBS), have a Background Check on file, and have Liability Insurance for myself.

Regardless of who you may choose to be your Santa, may the Spirit of Joy be the end result for the event you are planning and for those who will participate.

Safety in set-up, interaction, and layout will be key in ensuring a positive and safe experience for all who come. I have a fairly strong voice and can project well in a large room. Would like to understand the venue and its setting in advance so that staging, flow, and security designed with Safety in mind can be achieved.
