Santa John will provide a high-quality service at short notice, in case your demands are somewhat pressing. Santa will be glad to thrill any guests during your party.

BONUS - Nice List Certificate provided

Regardless of the type of visit you choose, Santa will bring an official “North Pole Nice List” certificate for each child. Coal can be (and usually is) handed out to those on the naughty list (Mom & Dad or other naughty adults present). The kids always get a laugh when mom or dad end up on Santa’s naughty list!

I am a Real Bearded Santa and have been bringing the spirit of Christmas to kids and adults since 2016.

In addition to being Santa, I have worked with children and youth for over 25 years through Awana ministries and Saratoga County 4-H.

You can see and meet me every year at the Saratoga Springs Victorian Streetwalk, passing out candy canes and having my picture taken with children, college students and adults.

When I started my journey as Santa, I became a member of the “International Brotherhood of Real Bearded Santa’s”.

For your safety, I have my background checked every year and am insured.

I serve the capital district of New York.

I started my journey as Santa Clause in the most unlikeliest of places - Wal-Mart. I was shopping with my wonderful wife in early November. At that time, my beard was not as white or as long, and I was wearing my normal big brimmed hat.

We turned the corner of an isle and a small child pointed at me and said to her mom: “MMMooommm, SSSSanta!” Her mom looked very embarrassed and apologized, I smiled and said that’s ok.

​Before I left the store that day, I picked up a red Santa hat and started a whole new chapter in my life as Santa.

My beard is much longer now, and very white. I carry a coin purse with me with “I was caught being good” coins wherever I go.

I love making a child’s day when the look at me and I can tell they are thinking – is that Santa? Then they almost always ask whoever they are with if that is Santa. By this time I will go up to them and hand them a coin and tell them “sssshhhhh” with my finger over my mouth. The smile and realization they just met Santa is worth it.

Helpful Hints
1. ALWAYS address Santa as Santa!

2. Make sure that all your cameras and video equipment are charged and ready to go.

3. If you have gifts or items to be handed out, Santa is more than happy to do so. Please have gifts well marked with printed names that are well taped to the package and a helper to get the presents out of the bag. The presents should be placed in a bag outside so Santa can bring them in with him if at all possible. The exact details should be worked out prior to arrival.

4. Make sure that everyone is there prior to Santa arriving. You can arrange to have Santa call you when he is 5 minutes away, so that you can get everyone ready.

5. Have a sturdy chair for Santa to sit in. A straight back dining room style chair without arms is a perfect choice. Please nothing with wheels!

6. Place this chair near your tree or wherever you want so as to get a nice background for the pictures. Leave enough room for people to also stand behind the chair.

7. Santa also prefers NOT to be around cigarette or other smoke as it smells up his suit for other visits.

8. Please call / text Santa John about any concerns you may have over masks.
