About

Hello,

My story begins with my stepfather Chester Davis. He was many things such as a Valhalla Pirate (Tinker) actor/writer, a Mountain Man reenactor, a Civil War reenactor, an Actor, an Artist and a History Buff. But of all of these characters, I think he enjoyed being Santa best. He was the personification of Santa always spreading the love of Christmas wherever we were as a family, I would notice little children stop in their tracks to get a longer look at Santa. They would tug at their parents to ask them if that was Santa. He would almost instantly answer Yes, I am Santa! and hand the parent a business card and go back to chatting with the child and he would almost always remind them that he is always watching them and to be good.

He has done things with Maria Carey, Tracy Morgan, Neal Patrick Harris, F A O Schwarz, Neiman Marcus, and Shark Tank. Just search "Santa Chester Davis" on youtube.com.

Well, he passed away in April 2020. from complications from COPD. Not COVID related. It took me over 3 years to get around to cleaning out his "Jumanji Room" our basement. I came across his Santa suits and I tried one on just to see and they were big on me. He was about 6', 2" and 320 lbs. and I am a mere 5',10" 272 lbs. LOL. I couldn't just get rid of them or give them to his backup Santa Thomi Hawk. Thomi was even smaller than I was. Just to give you a mental image, He started out being Chester's Elf. Ha Ha Ha. He has moved on to being a Santa too now. Thomi is a longtime family friend. He is also a man of many characters. He has been a standout tattoo artist. (He has done two of my tattoos), a gun slinging, whip wielding Cowboy at Wild West City in New Jersey, He was Chester's "overflow" Santa. If Chester had a gig that he was had already had that time slot filled he would ask Thomi if he was available.

After I tried on that suit I thought I might try to do a Santa gig. I posted my services on (link hidden). I had my daughter take some quick pics of me in front of our fireplace. The service ad stated "Santa in a pinch". I was contacted by a person looking for a Santa to come to there house on Christmas Eve. I took notice of the address and it was only 7 minutes away. So, I did that one gig on Christmas Eve 2023 for a great family. It was for just 15 minutes. It was in those few minutes that changed my life forever. They had a little girl about 3 years old who sat on my lap and whispered in my ear what she wanted for Christmas. That moment just melted my heart. I knew then that this was something I wanted to do and I wanted to be the best Santa that I could be. So, I started researching Santa Schools al over the country. But there was one school that really stood out for me. It was the Harvard of all Santa Schools. It was the Charles W. Howard Santa Claus School. Established 1937. The World's Oldest Santa School in Midland, MI.
