Santa Jerod is a bilingual (English/Spanish) enthusiastic and creative professionally trained storyteller and Santa Claus in South Louisiana. He is a graduate of the Northern Lights Santa Academy and the International University of Santa Claus.
Santa Jerod is an experienced public speaker, sharing hundreds of stories with both small groups of only a few and large groups of as many as 3,000 people.
Santa Jerod has received training specifically in working with children and adults who have special needs and has received, and maintains, a clean criminal record and national background check, including a clean record from the National Sex Offender Registry.

December 19, 2024The Best Special Needs Santa I have had
Our event was for primarily special needs children. Most of the families have one or more special needs children that range from Severe Autism, Downs Syndrome including mutism and many sensitivities. Santa Jerod met each child where they were comfortable. Some having great discussions with him and some hiding around the corner. He made it his goal to connect with each child interacting on their level until they were comfortable. I highly recommend this Santa for any Christmas event that you have planned!

We love Santa Jerod! We have invited him to join us for a community event of around 150 children two years in a row and every year he's a hit! Parents love his ability to connect with the kids and also teach some lessons along the way (ex: keeping our rooms clean so Santa doesn't get hurt!) He's very easy to work with and knows how to work the crowd. He sits for pictures but also was out there throwing the football around with our young boys and playing other games with the girls. It was just wonderful and we look forward to having him back in the future!

I am not just a prop. Through my portrayal as a storyteller and Santa Claus I strive to create a magical experience, create memories, help create smiles from the young and old, - and even some tears from both.
If I take my portrayal seriously and do things correctly and professionally - I can really add so much value from a public relations and marketing standpoint. Include me in your planning, your pre-events, post-events, press conferences, event suggestions, and more. I truly want to help.
This isn't a job for me, it's a calling. And I really want to see things done right and successfully.
