When you book Santa Donald, you can expect more than someone simply arriving in a Santa suit. You can expect a warm, professional, interactive Christmas experience tailored to your event.

Before the Event

Santa Donald loves making each visit personal. Before his arrival, you are welcome to provide special information such as children's names, Christmas wishes, accomplishments, family traditions, or other details you would like Santa to know. Those little details can make children wonder, "How did Santa know that?" 🎅✨

During Your Visit

Depending on your event and the amount of time booked, Santa Donald can:

Santa Donald is comfortable entertaining children and adults of all ages. He is patient with little ones who may be shy, nervous, or unsure about meeting Santa and will never rush a child simply for a photograph.

Preparing for Santa's Arrival

If Santa will be handing out gifts, please have them clearly labeled and ready before his arrival. Arrangements can be made ahead of time for Santa to receive the gifts without children seeing.

For longer appearances, please provide Santa with a comfortable place to sit. A sturdy chair with a supportive back is recommended. Santa Donald also has a professional Santa chair available as an optional rental.

Santa's wool suit can get very warm, so indoor events or a comfortable, shaded location are greatly appreciated when Texas decides Christmas should feel like summer! 🎅☀️

Santa Donald will work with you to help make his entrance and appearance as magical and seamless as possible.

For Santa Donald, putting on the red suit isn't simply about looking like Santa. It's about creating a moment when children—and adults—can truly believe in the magic of Christmas.

Santa Donald has been professionally portraying Santa since 2016, beginning his Santa journey at The North Pole in College Station, Texas. Over the years, what began as a role grew into something he genuinely loves: bringing the Christmas spirit to everyone around him and creating memories that families can carry with them long after Christmas is over.

And when Santa Donald walks into the room, he looks like Santa!

With his real white beard, warm personality, wonderful Santa laugh, and traditional "Ho, Ho, Ho!" Santa Donald brings an authentic presence that helps make every visit feel special. His professional wardrobe includes a beautiful traditional wool Santa suit, creating the classic, timeless Santa appearance that looks wonderful in person and in photographs.

But the suit and beard are only part of what makes Santa Donald special.

Santa Donald is funny, gentle, patient, playful, warm, and a natural storyteller. As a father who raised six children of his own, Donald understands that every child is different.

Santa Donald accepts bookings with a one-hour minimum and is available to travel up to 60 miles for appearances.

Performance & Service Requirements

Santa Donald requires very little technical setup and can accommodate most homes, businesses, churches, schools, corporate events, photography sessions, and community celebrations.

Seating

If Santa will be seated during the appearance, the client should provide a sturdy, comfortable chair with a supportive back and adequate space around it for Santa, children, guests, and photographs.

Please do not provide folding chairs, low chairs, or chairs that may not safely support Santa while children are interacting with him.

A professional Santa chair is also available to rent for an additional fee. Chair rental includes delivery, setup, and pickup.

Temperature & Outdoor Events

Santa Donald wears a professional wool Santa suit, which can become very warm. Indoor, climate-controlled locations are preferred whenever possible.

For outdoor events, please provide a shaded or covered area protected from excessive heat, rain, or other unfavorable weather conditions. Santa may require reasonable cooling and hydration breaks during longer appearances.

Photography & Lighting

For events involving photographs, the client or photographer is responsible for providing adequate lighting and photography equipment.

Please make sure the Santa area is well lit and has enough room for families and groups to safely enter and exit the photo area.

Sound

No sound system is required for most appearances.

For large events where Santa will be speaking to a crowd, reading stories, making announcements, or leading activities, the client should provide an appropriate microphone and sound system.

Staging & Access

Please provide Santa with a safe, clear, and accessible route into and out of the event area.

If possible, Santa's entrance should be arranged away from guest parking or areas where children may see Santa arriving or leaving.

For large venues, please provide a designated contact person who can meet Santa upon arrival and discreetly escort him to the performance area.

Gifts

If Santa will distribute gifts, all gifts must be provided by the client and clearly labeled. Arrangements should be made in advance for Santa to receive the gifts discreetly and out of sight of children.

Parking

A safe and reasonably close parking location should be available whenever possible, particularly when Santa is carrying books, gifts, props, or other equipment.

Safety

The client is responsible for providing a safe environment for Santa Donald and all guests. Children should remain appropriately supervised by a parent, guardian, teacher, or responsible adult throughout the appearance.

Santa Donald reserves the right to discontinue or modify an appearance if conditions become unsafe, threatening, inappropriate, or potentially damaging to Santa's costume or equipment.
