Bring Christmas cheer to any Christmas event. Santa Curtis is a real bearded Santa Claus in the Greater Houston area that has been bringing joy to the faces of children of all ages while portraying Santa Claus for many years.
Santa Curtis has worked with children in a volunteer capacity since 2005, and has experience working with special needs children. After donning the red suit for the first time in 2018, Santa Curtis believes in bringing an authentic portrayal to each event he attends. It is more than just the real snow white beard. The experience includes multiple custom tailored suits, including the classic traditional suit, cola style suit, royal robe, and cowboy Santa.

Not what we had hoped for

Maybe it was just an off day, but I was hoping that Santa Curtis would come in and take command of our event. I had sent detailed e-mails about what each kid was hoping for for Christmas (only had 4 kids at the event) in hopes that Santa Curtis would have them sit with him and discuss a bit about Christmas and what they were hoping for. That did not happen. He basically just called out their name and handed them the gift I had in the bag for him. I also had a special gift for someone that had a very rough year and explained a bit about why this was the case. No mention about any of the information I spent time detailing in my e-mails to him prior to the event. It was very lack luster. He was also not great about responding to the e-mails I sent without me having to follow up.

Thanks for the honest feedback.
This was definitely a visit that I was worried about living up to the expectations, as they were not clear when we booked the visit.
When the visit was booked, it only had the number of children and requested time, with no notes. So, I made the assumption that this was a simple greet kids, hand out gifts and take pictures event. Then a few days after I was booked, I received the additional notes and expectations. I should have called you to let you know that I was worried about the expectations because we had fit your visit into a busy day and I didn't allow enough time between events to review/prepare according to the large list of expectations. That way we could have come up with a better plan for being on the same page for who is going to take control of the visit.
There was nothing wrong with your expectations, and I do many events with similar expectations that go better than your visit. Had I known the expectations prior to booking, I would have scheduled the event with a couple of hours before the event to give me a chance to memorize the children's names, their Christmas wish list, and the struggles they are facing this year, in order to make the visit more magical.
I will take the feedback and use it to be sure I understand expectations for visits in the future before I schedule/book the events.

Santa Curtis was Fantastic!

This was our first time not doing Santa in-house and we rolled the dice with this company. We were not disappointed at all. Santa was great at communicating with us prior to the event, and was prompt to our event. The children and parents all LOVED him! We will use him again! Thank you Santa Curtis!

About

I have been a real bearded Santa Clause in the Greater Houston area since 2018. I have been used for many company Christmas parties, HOA neighborhood parties, private parties, retail shop Santa visits, and home visits to put smiles on children's faces during the Christmas season.

Additional booking notes

Client will need to provide own Chair/bench and photo background/decorations. Santa Curtis has a custom throne available for an additional fee.
