Portraying Santa has been something he wanted to do for a long time. Married and the father of two daughters and a son, Santa Smokey knows that being Santa Claus is about spreading love and kindness. With 25 years of teaching experience in both elementary and middle school, teaching over 2000 students and going on mission trips to Ethiopia, Dominican Republic and Haiti for the past eight years, I have a heart for helping others and encouraging people to be the best version of themselves, changing the world one person, one day at a time. As Santa, I can do the following:
~make a grand entrance or sneak in. However parents want to stage the entrance.
~I can visit with the children.
~Upon request, I can read a story to the children.
~I can help to stage photos for the family.
~I can pass out gifts parents provide ahead of time.
I am currently a middle school teacher in Mt. Lebanon School District, Pittsburgh, PA. This is my 25th year of teaching. Since I am currently teaching, I have all clearances that are necessary. I am a US Navy veteran with an honorable discharge. I have been married for 28 years and am blessed with a wonderful wife and three beautiful children.
I don't have any requirements for lighting or sound. However, for staging, it would be nice to have a space where children and santa can sit together.
