Santa Claus Jim

In addition to general meet and greet with photo ops that I've done for large parties, I also do home visits. My home visits usually consist of my arrival early enough to load up any gifts the host may have provided for the children. I burst in with a rousing "Ho,Ho,Ho" and suggest we sing some Christmas Carols. Then it's time to read a story. I even perform a couple of Christmas themed magic tricks. This is followed by me handing out the gifts (and candy canes). We then take as many family photos as you like.

I will respond to your request within 24 hours (usually much faster). If we agree on a date, time and service I will email you a short questionnaire (for the Naughty and Nice service) that will give me all the details about your child (or children) to make our visit personal and memorable.
If you select the phone call, I will contact you before the actual call to remind you to change the caller ID to “Santa Claus” so when the call comes in they will be thrilled to see my name on your phone. Once the call is answered (suggest put it on Speaker) I will have a one-on-one conversation about them and what they hope for on Christmas morning, all the while you can record this via another phone. I will also answer any question they have about me and the North Pole, tell some Santa jokes and check my Naughty and Nice list (which I can guarantee they will be in the Nice column). The call will last around 5-7 minutes.

Lastly, if you have a large group I will, just like Santa in the mall, have each person come up to me, have a personal conversation and tell me what they want for Christmas. Just like a live Santa visit but without the candy cane. I can even sing a couple of carols.

Ever since he was a little boy – the lights, the decorations, the baking, the presents, and especially Santa, have always resided in a special place in his heart.

Jim has worked as a professional actor for the last 40 years at most of San Diego’s theaters. He is a dad to three grown children, loves to travel with his wife of 48 years, and loves eating (especially Italian!).

Jim has been Santa in San Diego for the past fifteen years, working at military bases, private homes, family parties, schools and daycares, country clubs, and businesses, bringing special attention and humor to every person he asks, “So what do you want Santa to bring you on Christmas?”

Jim is sensitive to the needs of every kind of child (and adult) and is 100% committed to everyone having a good experience and a fun, and memorable time. His philosophy is simple: “I treat you and your family like you’re my family."

Prior to speaking with him or her or them, I will send you a questionnaire to help me learn all about your child. Watch their amazed faces as I seem to know everything about them. Of course, I will answer all their questions as well (how do reindeer fly?).

Please have a substantial chair or bench (ideally with holiday decorations) that will hold the weight of Santa as well as children and/or adults who will sit with him. Ideally it should have arms that someone could sit upon
