Meet Santa Brett Shaw – The Magic Behind the Red Suit

My journey as the jolly old fellow from the North Pole began in the most unexpected way — during a quiet drive home from a corporate event. Out of the blue, my wife turned to me and said, “Have you ever thought about being Santa Claus?” I laughed and said, “No way! I’m not big or jolly enough to be Santa!”
But she saw something I didn’t — a natural warmth, showmanship, and genuine love for bringing joy to others. That simple question sparked a curiosity in me that changed everything.

A few days later, I called a close friend who’s been a professional Santa for over 14 years. His excitement was contagious. For nearly two hours, he shared stories about the joy, laughter, and wonder he’s brought to thousands of families. By the end of that conversation, I knew this was my next calling.

When I take on something, I give it 100%. Today, I proudly wear the red suit and black boots as Santa Brett Shaw — a professional Santa Claus available for private home visits, corporate celebrations, parades, charity events, and TV appearances. Each appearance is filled with laughter, heartfelt moments, and even personalized “Nice List” certificates that make children’s eyes light up with wonder.

But my story doesn’t stop there. I’m also a professional magician, illusionist, actor, and motivational entertainer with over 30 years of experience performing across the United States and internationally — from Las Vegas and Branson to Japan, Australia, and the United Kingdom. I’ve entertained Fortune 500 companies, appeared on television, and captivated audiences in over 30 states.

✨ Book early — premium dates fill fast!

Please have a parking spot available for Santa. It should be nearby but not in view of the guests. If in a home, please obtain permission for Santa to park on the street a couple of houses away.
Santa will need a sturdy chair without arms. A straight-backed dining chair will work fine. Santa will also need a small chair or bench for the little ones to sit on swell. Leave a bit of room behind the chair for family photos if possible and do not set up in front of the fire place if lit. Santa get pretty hot in his outfit and having a roaring fire may be pretty but does not help Santa stay cool.
Make sure that your cameras are charged and ready to go. Try to avoid “backlit” background areas for your pictures such as a window (during the day) or a plain white wall. these backgrounds will cause your camera or cell phone to give poor results. A Christmas Tree makes for a pretty background.
If you have gifts to be passed out be sure that they have labels that are easy to read. Santa REALLY appreciates a helper that can call out the names! All of the gifts should be able to fit into Santa’s Bag, about the size of a 32 gallon trash bag and easily carried by Santa. If there are more presents than bag, Santa may be able to provide an additional bag for a helper to carry.
Make sure that all of your guests have arrived before Santa makes his entrance. Santa will contact you 5-10 minutes prior to his arrival.
Santa quit smoking his pipe many years ago and would prefer to not be around smoke as it makes his suit smell and Mrs. Claus does not appreciate the smell.
If payment is due please place it inside of a Christmas card or a “Letter to Santa” and hand it to Santa at the end of his visit stating “This is something that we would like you to have.”
For Large Family, Business Parties and Special Events:
Santa’s needs 1 to 2 helpers, the helpers should check the children’s hands and faces for sticky or messy areas. Have some wipes to help with this task.
For Large Events,
As an added Bonus for large multi-hour events, we can provide, a Santa Chair, Photo Backdrop, and even Santa’s Mailbox for children to mail their letters.
Have a couple helpers, someone assigned to control the line and crowd.
Depending on how long the visit is, Santa will need hourly breaks. Probably 10 minutes after every 1 hour sitting. Please predetermine a quiet place where Santa can change out of his heavy coat, possibly some cool water and a restroom away from the public.

For any event large or small Santa can make it snow:
Imagine the look one everyone's eyes when Santa is able to make it snow. This of course is an extra fee for this magical experience. (Not advised to have it snow inside a residence due to liability reasons. But if you choose to have this experience, Santa and company will not be held liable for any and all issues that may or may not accuse.)
