I have several different set lists, that can be modified to meet your needs.
Set 1: power ballads and love songs
Set 2: mid-tempo r&b
Set 3: up-tempo r&b
Set 4: Classic rock
Set 5: blues & jazz
Set 6: Country & pop

All sets can be mixed together, songs performed in any order that you'd like.

Band specifications to meet your needs. Band arrives 2 -3 hours before start time for set up and sound check.

Check in with Event Planner or host. Go over final details and any changes or adjustments that have been requested, and to receive final payment.

Check in with sound engineer (if provided) to discuss optimum set up and sound needs.

Set up/soundcheck

Band starts on time with 1-2 instrumentals if full band. If acoustic, Sangin Sara begins set at the appointed time.

Perform 1st set (typically 45 min - 1 hour)

If multiple sets Band breaks (typically 15-20 min)

Perform 2nd set (if applicable) follow same format for additional sets.

Band loads out. Remains available for mingling, if requested. Vacates premises quickly and quietly, if requested.

As Background Vocal Director for Grammy-winning artist Ledisi for over 20 years, Sara has honed her gift for arranging and directing, crafting performances that resonate with precision and heart. Her recent credits include Ledisi’s The Crown (2025), Michael Franti’s Welcome to the Family (2025), and JY Park’s Gatsby (2025), along with her choral arrangement for I Will Survive in Tyler Perry’s Divorce in the Black (2024).

Sara’s voice has graced stages worldwide. She has performed alongside and supported a luminous roster of artists: Rahsaan Patterson, Michael Franti, Jennifer Holliday, Dave Hollister, N’Dambi, and more.

Beyond performance, she is a sought-after coach and mentor, curating workshops such as The Artistry of the BGV, where she cultivates the next generation of voices. Students and peers alike describe her as a guide who balances structure with freedom, unlocking authenticity in every singer she touches.
