April 27, 2026Awesome Job
They arrived on time, stayed to be sure all equipment was stowed - ours especially which was an added support. Our speakers could relax knowing there was a professional they could count on to assure excellent sound on our various mics and voices. They easily settled into our silent retreat format, including in the dining hall. We can’t wait to work with them again!

About
Leo Webster‑Humphreys is an audiovisual professional and the founder of San Diego Event Production & Technical Services, a company built on the belief that when the tech works, everything works. With more than a decade of hands‑on experience in live sound, event production, home AV, and real‑world IT support, Leo has become known for creating smooth, reliable, and stress‑free technical experiences for clients across Southern California.
Leo’s career began with a simple goal: help people put on great events without the frustration that often comes with technology. Over the years, that goal has shaped a versatile skill set spanning concerts, conferences, fundraisers, theatrical productions, corporate meetings, and residential AV installations. Whether mixing a live show, building a clean digital workflow, or fixing a “make it work” home setup, Leo brings the same approach every time—listen first, understand the space, and deliver solutions that feel intentional and dependable.
His work is influenced by modern production standards, professional‑grade equipment, and a commitment to clarity and communication. From Yamaha digital consoles and Dante‑based systems to QSC powered speakers and Radial direct boxes, Leo chooses tools that support consistency and quality. Clients appreciate his ability to explain things without jargon, solve problems on the fly, and create systems that feel intuitive for anyone using them.
Beyond the technical side, Leo is driven by the experience of the people in the room. He believes that great production is about more than gear—it’s about how an event feels, how a message lands, and how smoothly everything comes together. That philosophy guides every project, from high‑energy live events to quiet retreats, from polished corporate meetings to home automation installs.
Today, San Diego Event Production & Technical Services continues to grow under Leo’s leadership, supporting events and clients who want things done right the first time. His work reflects a blend of technical expertise, creative problem‑solving, and genuine care for the people he serves.
Additional booking notes
To ensure reliable performance and a smooth event, clients are asked to provide the following technical conditions:
- Access to two separate 15–20 amp electrical circuits dedicated to audio, lighting, and production equipment. Power must be clean, stable, and properly grounded.
- A clear and safe setup area for speakers, lighting, cabling, and the mixing console, with enough space for proper sound coverage and equipment placement.
- A protected environment for all equipment, including cover or shade for outdoor events. All electronics must be kept away from rain, moisture, and extreme heat.
- Safe cable pathways throughout the venue. Cable ramps may be required for public walkways or high‑traffic areas.
- A stable network connection when Dante systems, streaming, or recording are part of the event.
- For presentations or media playback, clients should provide files in advance or ensure compatible devices are available.
- Adequate load‑in time, setup time, and clear access to the venue for unloading equipment.
- Any event that runs past the scheduled end time will incur the $150 overtime fee as stated in the booking terms.
These requirements help ensure that all equipment operates safely and at full quality. Clients can review additional information about services and equipment at the website
