October 13, 2022Amazing Talent!
Samer was instrumental in the success of our event! We pushed the creative envelope with our event in many ways, and it would not have been possible without Samer's help. He delivered difficult pieces for our review and composed a back track with ease for the requested pieces. He is a true professional and a joy to work with. His contribution helped to make our event a huge success.
THANK YOU, Samer, and I hope to work with you again soon!

About
Samer Fanek (Arabic: سامر الفانك, born December 11, 1986) is an award-winning pianist, composer, and producer of instrumental piano music. He pursues a lifelong dream of building genuine connections with listeners across the world by offering songs that he hopes will become soundtracks to meaningful moments in their lives. In his music, he strives to express powerful emotions and invites listeners to feel the stories and sentiments he pours into each song through their own experiences, whether heard live in concert or through his recorded albums.
Born and raised in Amman, Jordan, he discovered his passion for music as a teenager by teaching himself to play piano by ear through trial and error. Unable to read or write sheet music, he learned to compose and arrange by experimenting with music production software, blending different instrumental sounds to evoke emotion and recreating many of his favorite radio songs from scratch. He later moved to the United States, with his dream of creating and sharing music growing quietly alongside him.
Shaped by his Jordanian and Polish upbringing and further influenced by the musical styles he encountered in the United States, Samer's compositions blend genres and cultures, carrying listeners through a wide range of emotions that unfold like a condensed life story. As his style evolved, he developed a distinctive sound that merges Western and orchestral influences with elements of rock, pop, Arabic music, and electronic textures. He layers the piano with modern synthesizers, orchestral textures, and occasional rhythmic elements, creating music that ranges from powerful and dramatic to gentle and introspective, including delicate piano solos.
To date, he has released five studio albums: Forever Elsewhere (2025), Call of the Desert (2022), Polarized (2020), Guide Me (2018), and Wishful Thinking (2016). His albums were met with critical acclaim, debuting at number one on (link hidden) charts within their genre, and his music also reached number twelve on the US Billboard charts in the New Age category.
Together, these albums mark distinct chapters in his artistic journey: Wishful Thinking captured the pivotal moment when he first began realizing his lifelong dream with the album title serving as a lighthearted reflection on the hope and uncertainty of that journey; Guide Me offered an intimate emotional journey balancing powerful orchestrations and delicate piano solos; Polarized reflected the contrasting highs and lows of life; Call of the Desert paid tribute to his Jordanian roots, blending Arabic and Western influences into a unique, heartfelt sound; and Forever Elsewhere explores the search for answers that seem endlessly out of reach, shaped by themes of longing and struggle.
His work has earned international recognition with a win in the Great American Song Contest for best instrumental song, several medals in the Global Music Awards, and nominations in the Hollywood Music in Media Awards (HMMA) in 2016, 2019, and 2021.
Samer’s music has reached audiences worldwide through international radio and streaming platforms, drawing listeners from diverse cultures and regions while surpassing 3 million streams on Spotify and 10,000 subscribers on YouTube. Alongside his online presence, he regularly performs in public and private concerts across the San Francisco Bay Area and beyond, sharing stories through music directly with audiences and creating personal musical moments. Looking ahead, Samer envisions bringing his orchestral compositions, originally composed with virtual instruments, to life onstage with a live band and orchestra, performing in theaters and concert halls around the world.
