We are a duo of piano and violin working in the SWFL area. We are professional musicians who graduated from Florida Gulf Coast University in Music Performance. Our love for music has brought us together to create this project and share our music with everybody who listen to us. With experience playing in weddings, events, dinners, and parties we offer a variety of styles in our repertoire. We are looking not only to entertain the guests but also to bring them quality music. Same String is a project that emerges from friendship, an expressive necessity and unconditional love for music. We are music performance major at Florida Gulf Coast University. The name of the duo is the combination of our names: Sandra and Melissa. But at the same time, it refers to the piano and the violin belonging to the same family of instruments. With weekly videos on all social platforms, with genres ranging from pop, jazz, Latin music to classical, Same String aspires to consolidate itself in the musical spaces of South Florida, a place that welcomed us since the beginning and where we aspire to form our career.
