The decision to have Sam Fazio at our cocktail hour and reception was honestly one of our best decisions for our wedding day. He was absolutely wonderful to work with from the planning process to sounding flawless during the day. Having live music, and specifically Sam Fazio, provided the fun, romantic, elegant atmosphere that we were looking for.
We actually had several guests come up to us and comment that they thought it was a recording playing and were shocked to find Sam Fazio and the band playing!
My husband and I still talk about how great the band sounded, even weeks after our wedding.
Sam Fazio is very prompt in his replies, dependable, adaptable to your requests and wants, and most importantly, really delivers above and beyond your expectations.

Jazz Band
Sam Fazio and his band played at our wedding reception. They did an excellent job communicating with us prior to the performance as we were selecting music and planning the music for our reception.
During the reception their music got all ages of people out on the dance floor. His music is fantastic and he was very flexible in responding to the different events that occurred during our wedding such as speeches, cutting of the pie (or cake), and special dances. Sam and his band were great to work with and we definitely recommend them!

About
Chicago native, Sam Fazio, returned to the music scene in 2009 and has been making an impact ever since. Sam can be seen regularly at many venues throughout the Chicagoland area, including the Coq d'Or at the historic Drake Hotel where he holds residence every Friday night. Sam has performed sold-out shows at Davenports, Katerinas and Maxims, and is a frequent performer at the legendary jazz clubs, Andy's and Jazz Showcase.
Sam's repertoire includes a unique mix of American standards, swing tunes and pop classics. His heartfelt interpretations bring new life to the standards and showcase his current, yet classic style. Sam's phrasing and storytelling is said to be reminiscent of the great Sinatra at his best although Sam is definitely his own man.
Sam's first full-length CD, The Songs We Love, was released in June 2010 and has been reviewed by many media outlets including WGN Radio, Chicago Jazz Magazine, Illinois Entertainer, (link hidden), Keys and Chords, and Jazz Review to name a few. Tracks from Sam's CD can be heard on radio stations throughout the country and around the world. Sam recently joined the roster of BluJazz Records and is in the process of working on his sophomore CD to be released in Summer 2012.
