Salt Lake Harpist
Overview
I am a classically trained harpist who loves to play pop music. I am mostly experienced in playing at weddings, restaurants, and hotels. I can play all of my music on my big, classical harp or on my smaller, electric harp. My electric harp allows me to play in more locations and I also incorporate a backing track with my electric harp to provide more depth to the music. Live music is a beautiful way to elevate any event.

What to expect
I am easy to work with and a quick and clear communicator! Because of my skill level on the harp, I can quickly learn any new song that the client might want to add to the set list. My set list includes some of the most popular love songs and pop songs. The popular song melodies and beautiful look of the harp keep the audience in awe throughout the entire event.
If you want a fun and new feel to the music, then I can play all of my songs on the electric harp with a backing track that adds depth to my sound. If you want a more classic and elegant feel, then I can play all of the same song list on my classical harp.
About
Hi! My name is Dani. I have been playing the harp for over 22 years! I played classical harp for the first 19 years and just recently started to play the electric harp. The electric harp adds such a fun element to any event and allows me to play in more locations because of its smaller size.
I have played the harp at numerous weddings and receptions, as well as senior living centers, funerals, religious meetings, at business events, and spent 4 years playing once a week at Primary Children's Hospital as part of their Music Therapy program. This past August 2023, I performed live with Lindsey Stirling in front of a sold out show of 6,000 people. I spent 6 months in Tucson, Arizona playing with HarpFusion, one of the world's largest traveling harp groups, and studied under Dr. Carrol McLaughlin, a world-renowned harpist. I have studied music therapy and participated in studies with cancer patients and the effect that music has on their pain level and have had the special opportunity to play for individuals in their last moments on this earth as they pass into the next life. I also had the great opportunity to perform in Los Angeles for an event where the world's top religious and political leaders gathered for an annual meeting.
Additional booking notes
I need to have a flat surface to place my harp on. If I am bringing my classical harp, then the area needs to have easy access with either a short walk or an elevator. If the event is outdoors then I need to be out of direct sunlight and cannot play in extreme weather conditions.
If I am playing my electric harp for longer than 2 hours, I will need to have access to an outlet to plug in my speaker.
