SalemPoor is a Recording Artist and Music Producer from Atlanta, Ga in the U.S.
He began writing poetry as a teenager, but with the influence of hip hop music and an urban American environment, a natural evolution began. Poetry became rap. SalemPoor understood but was not impressed with the messages and images that the rappers presented so he developed his own style of Spoken Word poetry blended with various styles of music. SalemPoor speaks on the ills of society and offers solutions to remedy them. He also analyzes his own development with an understanding that we all have room for improvement. And....Every now and then, you'll catch SalemPoor having some fun.

SalemPoor's production style is fused with a bluesy "dirty south" edge and Miles Davis kind of Cool. SalemPoor's biggest influences are the entire Dungeon Family and recently departed greats, Gil Scott-Heron and BB King.
SalemPoor is also a motivational speaker, a boxing enthusiast, and a pool shark.
