We believe that professionalism is just as important as musical skill/talent. It is important for us to look sharp, be attentive to our clients and guests, and to knock your socks off with great music! The band can cover a wide variety of Latin styles and also incorporate English songs to cater to diverse audiences. We love multicultural events!

Sal de Mambo also offers DJ/MC services to cover receptions, wedding ceremonies, or music to fill in during the band's breaks. We are all inclusive! Having us run your entire entertainment allows the band to have a clean setup on stage that is seamless with the DJ. The band can also coordinate with the DJ so that we have complete control of the musical energy of the event, which is very crucial for private parties. Most importantly, if you hire us to DJ, you will save money when compared to using another DJ since we will already be providing the sound system.

Sal de Mambo is San Antonio's latest Latin band to hit the market. Established in 2022, the band is a collection of musicians from diverse cultural and musical backgrounds. Some of our musicians are formally trained and hold music degrees from universities, while others have matured from playing in night clubs all across the country. As a a result, the band is able to showcase a deep understanding of the the music and all of its nuances, as well as connect with audiences of all backgrounds.

The band's founder, David Lara, brings an extensive amount of experience of working in the industry. His former success of managing Lara Latin, a band based in Dallas, has given Sal de Mambo a solid foundation in understanding how to perform and entertain audiences whether its a private or public event.

We are able to provide:
- Our own PA system (speakers, microphones, monitors, etc) for up to 300 guests
- Stage and dance floor lighting
- Uplighting (additional cost)

We require:
- Access to two dedicated circuits for the band. This means that the band needs to plug into two outlets in which no other entity/device is plugged into
- Performance area (no stage is required) of about 16x20
- A place to put our empty cases and bags
