Saint Nick and Mrs. Claus

We cater every visit to the needs of the client. For smaller home visits, we like to gather information about the children including their names, hobbies, something special they have done during the year, at least one gift they are asking for that year and (if requested by the parent) something we can encourage them to work on in the coming year (being nicer to their siblings, school, helping around the house, etc.). We do not have a set fee for private, single-family home visits but gladly accept tips.

We share the true story of Santa Claus as Saint Nicholas, the philanthropic Christian Bishop of Myra from the 3rd century. This includes encouragement to the kids to seek out ways to help other people in need.

We also share a few tales of the North Pole and our elves (if requested) will also share their own stories of the workshop. If available, one elf may also create simple balloon animals for smaller groups of children. Our elves, our own young children, interact with everyone and have proven a great addition to our performance (something most Santas do not provide).

We treat each child we speak to with love and care, taking time to talk with them and listen. We do not rush through with each child and try to make every encounter special and unique.

For large events (such as parades or non-contact appearances) we still try to interact with everyone we see, even pointing some out in the crowd to let them know Santa sees them.

Santa is a retired military member who also served in this role during his time on active duty to children in Ketchikan, Alaska & New London, Connecticut. Mrs. Claus has been his wife since 1999 & the two of them have 11 elves (kids) with 2 grand-elves (grandkids).

Seating is requested for all home and stationary events. This includes seating for Mrs. Claus and elves (if they are requested to appear).

Santa has his own bag, but he can use it for any gifts you may want him to pass out. In this scenario, we request that you make the gifts available beforehand so they can be placed in the bag.
