What to expect
Sagamore is fun, passion, and active audience involvement. We encourage everyone to belt out their favorite tunes, whether they're classics from their youth, tracks featured in beloved movies and games, or gems discovered through the influence of exceptionally cool parents:)
Our music is a nostalgic time machine, transporting listeners to an era characterized by shag carpeting, Chevy conversion vans, bell bottoms, mini skirts, and the some of the greatest rock performances.
During our high-energy shows, typically spanning three or four hours, we relish every moment on stage. Our short breaks provide the perfect opportunity to connect with our fans and the broader community, sharing stories, a drink, and memories from the music that reminds us of emotions, our youth, and a simpler time. Sagamore will help you make new memories together!
About
Sagamore came together in 2022, comprising seasoned musicians with extensive backgrounds in teaching music, professional touring, and even receiving offers to join national acts. Their collective dedication to music has resulted in the formation of a high energy rock band, Sagamore, which has swiftly garnered acclaim and secured repeat bookings at some of Raleigh's best venues.
The band takes its name from Lake Sagamore, home to several members (now known as Lake Royale), but Sagamore is also the name of a distinguished rye whiskey and holds significance in Native American culture, where the Sagamore served as the Chief's second in command.
For Sagamore, each performance is a realization of the rock 'n' roll dream. They are living the rock and roll dream 50 to 400 people at a time! They relish every moment onstage, cherishing each fan, every song, and every gig as they continue to embrace the joy of their musical journey.
Additional booking notes
The venue requirements for Sagamore performances include a minimum of two separate electrical circuits (3-4 is preferred), a stage area with a level and hard surface. All venues must adhere to local, city, and subdivision ordinances to ensure compliance with regulations.
