It is important to understand that henna is natural and only one color. It depends how you follow the after care but the stain should be orange at first and then gradually darken up to rich reddish brown.

Normally, it takes up to 30 to 40 minutes to dry your henna but to get the best stain result you should at least leave it on for about 2 hours. The stain gets grdually darker from pumpkin orange to rich burgendy red within 12 to 36 hours after paste removal.

There is no such think as Black henna. But I offer Jagua henna which is a safer alternative to Black henna. It leaves a navy blueish/ blackish stain after paste removal.

My henna is 100% organic and natural so it is safe to use on adults and kids as well.

HENNAFY is directed by a husband-wife team. We started our journey at HENNAFY in 2015. The lead artist of HENNAFY, Sadia has brought up with henna since her childhood. It was part of her Bangladeshi culture to use henna for special religious occasions, weddings and other festivals. She started to play with henna when she was only eleven. It was something that didn’t require her longer to adapt the skills. When she moved to USA in 2009, she saw that people around her always stare at her henna as they seemed like never seen Henna before. Henna was a way of communication for Sadia. When she started her college she found a bunch of potential customers who were willing to pay for her henna services. So she decided to start a small henna service business based in her college campus. She never thought henna will ever be her full time business. But her love and passion for henna made her to quit her corporate job. She got her certification in henna artistry.

Now, HENNAFY has been proudly serving her top quality henna services in Washington DC, Maryland, Virginia and in Pennsylvania areas. She and her husband Rimon, got a store front retail space to provide professional quality henna services and experiences. They have added more products including custom made t-shirts and custom made decor that represents the art work of HENNAFY.
