Ryan began his life of drumming at the early age of five and has been banging away ever since. He began as a rock and club drummer in the ever changing Dallas music scene during the 90's, performed and toured Texas and the southwest with some of the hardest hair 90's bands like Safyre, Gypsy Rose, Crystal Ball and Cleopatra. He has opened for Pantera and Lover Boy. His sound expanded as he began exposing himself to a wider range of drumming to satisfy his curiosity. Ryan's style merged with world drumming and a variety of African, Middle Eastern and Afro Caribbean rhythms along with his steady and heavy rock/techno roots creating a style he calls *MoNaProg (Modern, New Age, Progressive). His sound is revolutionary and driving. He has composed three very abstract CD's to his name and has toured the US and Greece. Currently he is creating even more progressive and ear satisfying grooves fusing modern technology while staying true to his roots

Influences cover such a broad spectrum for me. I grew up with Rush, Zeppelin, Deep Purple and quickly turned my attention to harder bands and the heavy hair bands of the 90's. From there my focus turned to Techno and House music with a splash of world drumming. I do my best to honor all of these styles with my own blend of East meets west and trance meets down rock grooves.
