What to expect
I can play a wide variety of music from jazz to modern pop music. I am a solo entertainer, or with enough time in advance to plan, I can bring a drummer and pianist as well. I try my best to be entertaining, and (with the right audience) often interact with the audience between songs or while tuning. Those who know me know that I will most likely at some point during my set with play the song “Purple Rain” by Prince. During this song, if I have any guest singers, I will invite them up to sing the song, if it is appropriate. At a funeral or a wake for example, there would be no antics, but at a bar or a club, there might be.
About
I’m a guitarist and singer, as well as a songwriter, and multi instrumentalist. My live performances prominently feature a looper pedal, and tasteful (and sometimes excessive) guitar solos. If there’s no PA available, I can run my vocal rig through the clean channel of my guitar amp instead.
Additional booking notes
As long as there’s a PA system, I’m good to go. I can run straight out to PA, I can run through my effects processor, or I can run through an amp if necessary. As for vocals, I’m not picky about microphones. If it works, I can work with it.
