“Kristian Paradis was hired as a percussionist for a choral holiday concert in Northern Virginia. He was great to work with and an excellent musician. ”
Overview
Cut through Humber College's Jazz program, but more importantly on the road and in the studio, Ryan Dugal holds 15 years of professional gigging experience as a drummer and singer-songwriter. This combined skill set, along with music production, reflects his mindset as a drummer: in service of the song. With that, he can show up to the gig and nail the songs by keeping his ear on structure, continuously predicting what will happen next, and reacting appropriately, even with no rehearsal. These skills also enable quick memorization, with the added bonus of optional backing vocals. Perhaps more importantly than anything noted above, when he is on your team, positive energy increases.
