The occasion of saying goodbye to a loved one is emotional. Your time of remembrance should be what you want it to be, and the music will be tailored to your desires. Hymns, modern worship songs, and various forms of pop music can all be included according to your wishes. I can work with soloists and other instrumentalists, and your music will be played on the organ, piano, or keyboard. I will arrive before the scheduled time, and I will play for the entire ceremony, starting with prelude music as your guests are entering.

Roy Swanson is an accomplished composer, arranger, and professional musician. He is Director of Music at Madeira Silverwood Presbyterian Church, conducting the sanctuary choir, bell choir, mens’ and womens’ ensembles, and leading the praise team. He plays the organ, piano, and he provides special musical offerings on the trumpet with original orchestral accompaniments. He also is a founding member of Rock It 88, a classic rock band, playing the keyboards and trumpet.

Some churches have organs, and some funeral home have organs. If your venue does not have an organ and you would like the organ sound, I will bring a keyboard with authentic organ sounds. Piano is also an option.
