Roshan James

With earthy, mystical wisdom, lyrical lines, and captivating delivery, Roshan James' spoken word performances enthrall audiences of all sizes. As a Tibetan-Indian and a member of the South Asian diaspora in Ontario, Roshan weaves words and layers of meaning into tapestries of narratives about her lived experience. She researches and experiments to create work that embodies decolonization, identity, timelessness, mindfulness, purpose, and healing. Roshan studied at Queen's University and the Centre for Medieval Studies at the University of Toronto, and she holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature from York University, summa cum laude.
