Overview
Elena Stark (aka Rose the Harper) is a singer and plays the celtic harp. Her repertoire consists of traditional, rennasiance, medieval, celtic, sea shanties, and folk music, and is always adding new pieces to her performance sets. She also plays the bodhram, the Irish frame drum, for more rowdy pieces. Equally comfortable on stage and in close intimate settings, she has performed at various festivals, weddings, and other events.

What to expect
I will bring my large 34 string floor harp, which is always an attention getter. I also have a smaller 25 string lap harp I can bring which serves as a backup instrument, and sometimes can work in better in small areas with difficult terrain.
I can bring my drum as well, but only if there is call for it.
I own a small amplifier with a couple of microphones for myself, should it be needed.
I tend to specalize in medieval/rennasiance settings, and thus have several fun costumes I can wear (including some fantasy makeup.) I do also have more low-key outfits I can wear depending on the theme or setting of your event. I am a fairly flexible on my presentation. I can set up as anything between the nearly-invisible musician to the side, to a fully costumed personality. Send me a message if you want something specific or special and we can work together.

Influences and inspiration
A lot of my artistic influences are from local performers around the campfire at medieval and rennasiance events. Some of them are: Clam Chowder, the Playford repertoire of dances, Alexander James Addams, Heather Dale, Deborah Henson-Conant, and a bunch of other artists you probably have never heard of.
Setup requirements
At least 4'X6' of space
A Chair (I have my own, but I understand that some clients will be particular on esthetics.)
Level Ground
I have two microphones which require phantom power. (I have my own amp and such, but if you want to plug me into someone else's sound system this is important.)
Storage space for instrument cases and miscellaneous gear. (Nothing fancy is nessessary, but it has to go somewhere.)
