I have a "natural affinity" for managing events. With 25 + years' experience designing flowers in my own business, I have a great design aesthetic. And I love people.
I naturally think outside of the box, as such I'm great for problem solving. As a teenager, I was involved with events on some level in school activities, and I come from a line of women who also managed events - my mother and my fraternal grandmother were both in fairly high-profile event coordination situations.
I took up floral design after working catering for the Marriott Hotels in Seattle, Washington, at Seattle Pacific University, approximately 25 years ago. I'm highly motivated for this new-ish venture, that of being paid for my event skills. I hope you'll find my enthusiasm and excitement for coordinating events super engaging. And, as such I am able to be flexible in my fees.
Because I left my position as a funeral reception coordinator at my church, I now have time for much more in this area. Just ask the Coffee Connections Group I started and managed until it got off the ground. I love to get people together for a great time. Just call me and I'll help you with yours!
