Sit back and enjoy a laid-back, 1 to 3 hours of motown, blues, light rock, folk, country, and some gospel along with a cool selection of covers, if desired. Up to 5 hours available on acoustic and electric jazz guitar, piano/keyboard, mandolin and trumpet. Nothing controversial in nature, but Americana from start to finish. Family, love, loss, healing, country, apple pie and mother are all part of the event, woven in and out of each line of lyric. I include 1 or 2 instrumentals each hour as well as some classic Sinatra, Dean Martin, Jack Johnson and Boner Lippman, all to provide a backdrop for your event and give everyone something to take home with them.

I was born into a musical family; father was a pastor of a small church and everyone old enough had to know how to play SOMETHING; piano, guitar, tambourine, spoons if need be! That background led to the brass section later in life, then to woodwinds (alto and tenor sax) and steel and nylon string guitars , then piano and that's where I find myself today.

I have played venues of over 2000 but prefer small, intimate groups, where you can talk and share and see people smile and laugh. My favorite venues are weddings, anniversaries, patio gigs, outdoor festivals, wineries, assisted living centers and nursing homes and have trained to play for hospice patients and memory care and nursing facilities.

I am the former resident pianist for Gulf Shores Restaurant playing Sunday Brunch, New Orleans style jazz and boogie woogie one week and old school gospel the next,

Instrument options include acoustic guitar, alto and tenor sax, trumpet and of course, piano. On sax I use a wireless mic to be free on stage or on the dance floor to mingle with guests when appropriate. I have also teamed with a local DJ to offer Sax/House music when desired for something very unique and fun.
