Dear Mr. and Mrs. Landgrebe,
What an honor to be invited to play at your wedding ceremony. This was a beautiful union of soulmates and families. This event was well planned and provided all guests a stunning rooftop view of Chicago's Gold Coast. A posh wedding, indeed, with an eye on timeless detail. The weather made for a perfect June Wedding Day in the traditional all elegant white motif. A beautiful venue, top notch professional hotel staff as well as the meticulous planning of the bride and groom made it all a treasured event to remember. What wonderful people you are. Thank you and I wish your new family all of the best.
Sincerely,
Robert

Thank you for inviting our musical harp ensemble and guest artists to perform for the residents at Lincolnwood. They were a wonderful audience and Rita was a great MC for the event. The facility and staff were top notch and very professional. Hope to perform for your residents again in the future. Sincerely, Robert Turner

May 6, 2018A memorable day, beautiful music... superior service
We hired Robert Turner to play harp music for my daughter’s first birthday celebration. He was an excellent choice for our unconventional idea. My daughter’s name is Harper and we thought it would be fitting to have harp music for her birthday. Mr. Turner’s pleasant attitude and spirit was a God send for a high stressed mom trying to pull a party together. The music was beautiful and he incorporated song selections we discussed beforehand and more. In addition to playing music for ambience, we had about 10 preschool age children attend the event and Mr. Turner skillfully led them through a music lesson fitting for their age group, complete with music themed coloring sheets. He also encouraged photos with the harp, which were so sweet, and allowed the children to play the harp strings. He arrived early and stayed a little after, allowing us the opportunity to have the harp accompany us singing Happy Birthday to Harper. Mr. Turner felt like part of our family for the day. It was so special and we are thankful to have had the experience!

Dear Tracee and Stanford Family,
Thank you for inviting me to play for this most special event. Your beautiful home was filled with a group of young party going young women who truly supported one another. It was clear that your planning efforts were greatly appreciated by them and all adults present. You exemplified and modeled the very definition of a loving mother. It was great meeting your family and interacting with them. Your daughters and young party goers were all so well behaved and open to new learning experiences. These qualities will ensure their academic and social emotionally success as they grow and develop. Thank you for your kind words, as I enjoyed playing for your family and introducing them to the harp as a musical experience to accompany your daughter Harper's First Birthday. The birthday girl was transported to her castle throne, with a grand sweet cake before her! She looked and acted like a princess, dressed in white, so gracious she was. Her court maidens and subjects all came clad in the finest gowns and suits to pay her tribute. Your detailed and thoughtful planning made this occasion a themed, fun, and educational success!
Sincerely,
Robert Turner

Kirstin and Family,
What an honor to be included in your ceremony. It was truly a blessed union . Bride and groom, both uplifted and surrounded by such loving family and friends. You truly worked diligently to make sure that all of your details were not left to chance on your wedding day. This must be a family trait, and one that has made all of the difference! This ethic will continue to guide you in both your professional and personal life accomplishments. Thank you again for your professional recommendation. Congratulations to you both! You chose a stunning setting for your reception, one which allowed your guests to explore the timeless grandeur of Chicago in the beautiful, historic Palmer House. The bride and groom were picturesque, sporting a designer wedding gown and tux. The tributes from your family and friends, all affirmations of the greatest illumination in the ceremony. The uniting of two brightly shining spirits. You are the future ! All the best.
Sincerely,
Robert Turner

Additional booking notes
The harp usually does not need amplification and can be heard in a large hall. If you would like to amplify the harp then please have the hall provide a microphone and stand near the area that I will be playing in. They should also have a mike cord long enough to reach this area. Make sure that someone will be able to turn on the PA system on the event day or that you will be able to turn it on. This is usually included with the hall rental. For best miking results then hire a professional sound system person for your event who will amplify everything.
If there are stairs involved then I may need for someone to help me carry the harp up and down outside the hall or inside the hall.
I drive a large van and will need a parking space to be reserved . Please let staff know that I come through the main entrance and not through alternate entrances. I unload the vehicle near the entrance then park the vehicle.
