Hello Keri: That was PHUN! :-) So glad it worked out that we could do the full guitar/violin/sax trio. Brad and Carl are ispirations. Thier vituosity and versatily makes it so easy to cover so many styles & moods at the drop of a hat. Definitly looking forward to doing future events with you :-)

Robert and his co-musician were incredible. Guitar and sax (bonus flute) were perfect for our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour. They were professional and organized. Brought a microphone for our officiant. The music was perfect!

December 17, 2023I'd highly recommend Robert McCloy!
We needed to plan a wedding in less than 4 weeks. We contacted Robert and he made it very easy and stress free. We requested two songs he hadn't played before, and he researched, drafted the music and sent us a preview. They were fantastic! The whole evening was blessed by his music. Robert is the best!

December 11, 2023Perfect for my Event!!!
We had Robert playing the background of our Christmas Tea Party and it was amazing. Anyone that wanted to sit and listen could, but people could still carry on their conversations without being interrupted. It worked out well and I'm still receiving compliments for the entertainment.

About
I've been a full time professional musician for over 35 yrs. All musicians I work with are pros - no weekend hobbyists. I've worked at well over 1000 weddings, and countless corporate, private, and community events.
Over those 35 years, I have never been late or missed a gig. Many, many reviews from past clients' are available upon request - giving their impressions of my professionalism, talent, flexibility, reliability, and attention to their requests.
My website includes repertoire listings. If your requests are not on my list, that's no concern, I do special requests all the time. Partnering with you to plan the music for your event is something I enjoy. My business motto is "Your Requests are my Business".
For outdoor events, make sure to inquire of any musician what amplification they provide. Acoustic instruments disappear outdoors with even a slight breeze. I carry a state of the art battery powered system. For weddings, a wireless lapel microphones are available for the officiant and/or readers at no extra charge.
I have total confidence in the quality of service that I deliver - and recognize that the most common reason people choose to not use my services is their budget.
I've come to realize that often, music is where people are most likely to cut their budget - but have seen many polls re: what guests remember about an event. They don't remember the food, the flowers, the decor. What they DO recall is the quality or lack of quality of the music.
Music provides the soundtrack of our lives. Stop. Think of all the personal memories that you hold that are book marked by a song.
It pays to go with a pro.
Robert McCloy
Additional booking notes
I come self contained. Any amplification, etc. included, and all is top of the line professional equipment.
Before you hire any musician, make sure to inquire re: what they carry for amplification. Outdoors, acoustic instruments disappear, as do voices. For outdoor events, I carry a state of the art battery powered system that includes the provision of 2 wireless lapel microphones - invaluable for amplifying officient & readers at a wedding. No extra charge, this is just the equipment I carry.
