Nashville Country Recording Artist, Robert Abernathy has been playing to audiences all over the country for the past 30 years as a Singer/Songwriter. He is the 2018 and 2023 Male Alabama Country Artist of the Year recipient along with numerous other awards. As an active presence in the Nashville music scene, Robert has quickly become one of the legendary stages’ hottest acts. Robert has been actively performing, writing and releasing music, mostly Country, since 2010--- several which have made it to #1 in various Indie Radio Publications. (Water to Whiskey, Heaven Has a Radio, Bar Tan, You Can’t Have My Boat, and Big Bass Problem) His latest Album, “”Somewhere Around 18” is available now.

In addition to writing, recording and playing shows all over the country, Robert is also a teacher of 26 years and is currently an Elementary School Teacher in Rutherford County, just outside Nashville.
He is the Lead singer of the Eagles Tribute Band, Eagle Sunrise and the Lead singer of the Alabama Tribute Band, Alabama Sunset in addition to his own band, the Robert Abernathy Band. 1. Technical Requirements
Sound & Audio:
FOH Sound System: Professional quality PA system, appropriate for the size of the venue
Monitor System: 6 individual monitor mixes (with independent EQ) and wedge monitors (or in-ear monitoring if preferred)
Microphones:
5 x Shure SM58 or equivalent (vocals)
3 x Shure SM57 or equivalent (guitar amps, Saxophone/fiddle)
1 x Shure Beta 52 or equivalent (kick drum)
1 x Audio-Technica AT4033 or equivalent (overhead or additional vocals)
2 x Sennheiser E604 or equivalent (snare drum, toms)
DI Boxes: 3 for direct input (for acoustic, keyboards, bass.)
Mixing Console: 32-channel digital or analog mixing board with all the necessary inputs for the band’s setup
Stage Setup:
Stage Dimensions: Minimum 24’ x 16’ for the full band setup
Instruments: All instruments are provided by the band; however, if required for fly dates, please provide:
1 x Full drum kit (with snare, bass drum, 3-4 toms, cymbals, hi-hat)
